What our partner families need is not charity but community, not caseworkers but co-workers. Our approach is to give them a hand-up, not a hand-out by partnering with them to build their own home.
Support for our work comes from financial gifts by those who feel that they have been blessed enough to give back. And equally it comes from volunteer labor from those who may not afford to make money, but who do want to give freely of their time to invest into building a home . . .
We believe that we all have something that we can GIVE. What you aim to give is not wasted. Our efforts will give away no money. It is not a free handout. All our gifts are a handup to those whom we serve.
So, GIVE your time. GIVE your monetary gifts. GIVE your heart to our mission. GIVE to end poverty housing and receive the joy of building community.
