Join a fun, devoted team of staff and volunteers that builds and constructs Habitat's award winning homes for families in poverty. We have two openings for motivated, "roll up your sleeves" AmeriCorps members who will work in a collaborative environment to provide best-in-class special events for our donors, groups, and volunteers. If you enjoy multi-tasking and the pace of a "mission-minded" environment, this might be the place for you.

AmeriCorps VISTA & National 

Program Benefits: AmeriCorps members receive benefits which include a living allowance per month, personal and sick leave, health care coverage, workers compensation and child care assistance (if eligible). Members also receive federal loan forbearance on qualified student loans and payment of interest accrued on qualified loans. After completing 12 months of service, members may be eligible for an education award of $5,550 or a stipend of circa $1,500. At the end of service, members also receive noncompetitive status for federal employment.

One year of full-time service (35–40 hours per week). Members may serve up to three years.
